As one of the UK's leading specialist stonework and restoration contractors, WCS recognise the need to provide ongoing training and a technical service for professionals involved in the design of stonework and the cleaning and restoration of buildings.
To further improve the quality of service we offer, we have decided to present a number of seminars, the first of which has been assessed by RIBA CPD Providers Network. This rigorous assessment process means that our lectures will be well balanced and will give all specifiers a valid educational experience helping them to do their jobs correctly, more creatively, cost effectively and efficiently.
If you would like to register an interest in this programme of seminars, please submit your details using the form below:

A description, stage by stage, of the practical processes involved in a stone conservation contract, concentrating on stone replacement, so that, in the absence of supervisory experience, anyone contracted to repair a stone structure will know the basic stages involved and the questions and decisions to be asked.
To complement the seminar on restoration and conservation of stone, there is also a visit to our workshops in Cheddar, to show the processes involved in machining, working and carving natural stone.
